Nadine El Roubi, Sudanese songstress and MC, was our second musician-in-residence at Maktaba.
This past June, multi-hyphenate artist Hala Alsalman spoke about her research-creation project for her short film "The Rod and The Ring," which was then followed by a screening and a Q&A.
Maktaba joined Maison de Palestine on Nakba day (May 15) to launch their new book "Visualizing Palestine: a Chronicle of Colonialism and the Struggle for Liberation."
On May 7th, we were joined by photographer Oumayma Ben Tanfous for an intimate conversation as she discussed her new photobook, "Between I and Lands."
