On the eve of the release of her new album, "Journey," Meryem offered us an intimate album listening session, acoustic performance and conversation around the themes of displacement, identity, and finding our way back home.
To quietly commemorate our community and our 3-year anniversary, we came together to embrace the moment like our families used to.
Tamara Abdul Hadi and Roï Saade held an intimate gathering at Maktaba, where we explored photobooks by artists from West Asia and North Africa, discussed photobook making, and reflected on photographic storytelling. This participatory session was an evening of photography, conversation and inspiration.
On June 28, Peace Collective on Trinity Street in Toronto's Distillery District hosted us for our anniversary collection pop-up :) We were so excited to be back!
