Join us on September 26th for another intimate artist talk with J. Reem Salloum about her artistic process and work.
J. Reem Salloum is a Palestinian/Syrian artist and filmmaker whose work explores the intersections of memory, displacement, and identity. Her multi-media based artwork, rooted in the documentation and reimagining of fragmented histories, speaks to the complex legacies of exile, particularly the deeply personal narratives of those affected by war, occupation and colonialism. Through collage, video installation, sculpture and painting, she constructs visual dialogues that navigate both the intimate and collective dimensions of loss, survival, and resilience.
