Who are refugees? Why do they have to leave their country? What are they doing here? In this highly timely picture book, Elise Gravel explains in simple and clear terms what it means to be a refugee. She reminds us that all these uprooted people are, first and foremost, human beings just like the rest of us. An accessible documentary that helps children better understand the world they live in.
