Fully written and performed by the prolific Montréal-based NARCY with production fully handled by Kahnawake resident and legendary Montréal DJ and musician Buddha Blaze.
With a friendship spanning over 20 years, this album is an ode to their city, their love for unadulterated rap shit and an increasingly lifted tale of an isolated writer in a crumbling world. With heavy bars like “I’m like America / Love Bombin’” and “so high on my horse like I’m on Ketamine” , NARCY laments the state of Planet Earth while reminding people sarcastically how precise he is, returning as the Anti-Hero of Rap. Buddha re-emerges in the music scene with an electric mix of jazz, funk, rock and soul (and even hip-hop) samples.
